This is a really useful exercise, in which you hold your breath while hitting the bag and when you cannot hold it any longer, you burst into a very fast and shallow breathing pattern, thus oxygenating your body rapidly, while you still keep punching the bag. This exercise helps manage the stress from the lack of sufficient air in the lungs and also teaches a way to recover fast and at the same time keep busy fighting.
