In our school we firmly believe in the benefits of solo training, which we think is a very important tool to help develop and expand almost all kinds of attributes and many (if not most) skills. In the past we uploaded a small number of videos on solo training (among them the "Tactile Control Solo Training" and the "Warm Up" one with the very important "range of motion" exercises). In this video, we focus on movement exercises and drills for power, coordination and skills enhancement that translate directly to combat efficiency and effectiveness for stand-up fighting.
Some of these exercises are simple, but most are somewhat (or quite) advanced from a movement complexity perspective, so we recommend you also watch our "Warm Up" video to see where many of these movement patterns come from.
There is also some footwork included, but you should understand it more conceptually (as coordination between other parts of the body and the feet) than technically.
We strongly believe that these exercises are greatly beneficial for all practitioners of russian (and other) martial arts.
